Nationally known as the “go-to” online resource for non-partisan, historical study of the Constitution, the National Constitution Center (NCC) has inaugurated the same kind of learning tools for the Declaration of Independence.
The Interactive Declaration provides the plain text of the Declaration, essays by leading scholars and experts across the political spectrum, and related content. It also provides a list of the signers of the Declaration and links to biographies about these remarkable Founders.
Just go to the home page of the NCC (constitutioncenter.org) and click on Declaration. You can easily navigate from there.
Make sure to check out the NCC’s America at 250 Civic Toolkit to explore our founding documents and the enduring vision they set in motion. Constitutioncenter.org/America-at-250. These are excellent resources for people of all ages.
