Students design fabric tiles that will form a giant mosaic of the American flag – a collective artwork celebrating unity, democracy, and the meaning of America today. It builds on the legacy of 2001 when 50,000 young people responded to 9/11by creating a massive flag mural formed from thousands of tiles. It takes only one tile to make a difference.
