Orange County high school students are invited to demonstrate their songwriting talent by participating in a contest sponsored by the Orange County Department of Education, Orange County Music and Dance and others.
Students in grades 9 – 12 can submit an original song that is 250 seconds (four minutes and ten seconds) or less, with patriotic lyrics that will celebrate our country’s founding. Submissions may be in pop, rock, hip hop, country, jazz, rhythm and blues, folk or classical. Completed songs must be submitted no later than November 30, 2025.
